Recently, there has been a larger focus on the frightening germs out there and ways to be more thorough with sanitizing and cleaning to combat those germs. Because of that, we want to introduce you to our newest Home Clean Heroes grime-fighter sidekick: Disinfector on Duty! Home Clean Heroes believes that a clean home is a healthier home, and so we’re here to save the day with added safety precautions when cleaning your home. Our Disinfector on Duty represents what we’re all about and is here to share some of our added cleaning practices we’ve put in place to keep both our cleaners and our customers safe.

Cleaning Guidelines from our Disinfector on Duty

EPA Approved Disinfectant Used

We’ve added a more powerful EPA approved disinfectant into the cleaning routine, that’s proven effective at neutralizing the COVID-19 virus. Our grime-fighters have also attended refresher training on proper techniques for effective disinfecting, to ensure that you and your family are protected from germs.

Face Masks and Hand Sanitizer for Cleaners

Before entering a customer’s home, our grime-fighters sanitize their hands and put on a face mask, shoe covers and gloves. They wear this protection throughout the duration of their time cleaning, to make sure that no unwanted germs come in the house or spread.

Separate Cloths and Cleaning Supplies

To prevent cross-contamination, each house will get its own freshly laundered microfiber cloths and cleaning supplies. Vacuum cleaner bags are also changed out after each home. Items that are not unique to the home, such as the large rolling totes, are left outside during service.

Social Distancing Maintained

All of our cleaning teams practice social distancing while cleaning your home. If you are present in the home during cleaning, we ask that you move to a different area of the house to allow for social distancing while our cleaners fight grime.

Equipment Disinfected

Temperature Checks

If any of our grime-fighters are feeling sick or have any symptoms of potential illness, they are required to stay home from work. Cleaners are also required to have their temperature checked before going out to clean homes each day.

Reschedule for Illness

If the team feels there is a situation that will put their health at risk, they have been directed to not provide service for that day, and to ask that you call and reschedule once the illness has passed.

As you can see, our Disinfector on Duty doesn’t mess around. With all the added steps in place you can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that your home is a cleaner and healthier place after our Heroes visit.
