Heroes Fighting Hunger Food Drive

At Home Clean Heroes, we genuinely believe in giving back to the community. From the beginning of December through early January, we collected grocery store gift cards, canned goods and other non-perishable items on behalf of Houston’s First Baptist Church. In mid-January, the Home Clean Heroes team dropped off the canned goods at the church to then be given to families in need in the local community.

Our Goal Achieved!

Canned goods donated from Home Clean Heroes customers

Our goal was to collect 150 non-perishable food items to provide meals to families in need throughout the West Houston area. We are thrilled to announce that we exceeded our goal and received 280 items!

How to Help Fight Hunger

Fighting hunger doesn’t have to end with our food drive. If you’d like to help fight hunger in the area, check out the Houston’s First Baptist Church website to learn about the different ways you can get involved. See below for recommendations for donating to the food drive:

  • Non-perishable food
  • Non-breakable containers
  • Nutrition labels intact
  • Check dates (items can be up to 6 months past printed date)
